In Cajun artist Camey Doucet's song, “Mom I’m Still Your Little Boy”, the artist recounts his memories about his mother’s care; i.e. she was there when he fell and she would pick him up and heal every scratch and cut with your hands and your love like magic from above, hay mom how I miss your loving touch. He goes on to pray to God to hear his prayer and says “Mom you’re like a rose that will never fade away, you taught me everything, you showed me right from wrong, now in everything I do I always think of you. Can this message be said better? Are you aware of other songs that are relevant to Mother's Day? |
